Name a Street after Afrika Bambaataa

Here is a great message from one of the supporters of the petition (Daniela V)

Sign the petition here

Streets are named with the names of people who made our lives more beautiful, because they created something new and useful that is on a higher level than just fashion, and because they added something to the world's inspiration, knowledge, rights, peace, freedom, safety and health. (And it should be honored much more when somebody cares not just for us humans, but recognizes that our complete eco system needs to be saved.. in general..) The times when legendary people like them were born to this planet, are not over yet, and the story goes on, even when our world sometimes seems so dark and negative that many do not recognize the (especially now) golden work of these good people.
Ask yourself, when you walk the way of your life, do you search for negativity, or do you search for positivity, how much do your eyes (want to) find and see? What do you remember later, and how thankful are you? Yes, it is a time when we need role models, and from time to time we should remember and let them know what their work is good for and honestly say thank you very much, with all signs of respect.

When we talk about Afrika Bambaataa, it is far about the time for a big sign of respect, especially at the place where all began.
Afrika Bambaataa is known as one of the Hip Hop culture's founding fathers and first DJ's, also respected by the electronic music scene. But his music is just a small part of the complete work. Afrika Bambaataa grew up in New York's Bronx, aware of the political and social problems, changes and movements since the 1960s and 1970s. His plan was to change the hard situation in his neighborhood to something positive. With an idea, that reached farer than expected, and now lives around the planet.
He unites people from different backgrounds in his now world wide role model group of peace, unity, respect and equality, that he founded in the early 1970s and that is still young, alive and growing. This group, with the name "Universal Zulu Nation", is especially active in the Hip Hop culture (from common known artists to people like you and me). Afrika Bambaataa and his Zulu Nation collect and share knowledge and wisdom, search for the truth and teach it, speak as a cultural, political and social voice to wake the people up, care for many other things, they give us high quality music with a message that was made with love, thoughts and soul, and they preform and organize as well to share a good time and dance to the music. With their influence on all elements of the Hip Hop scene, coming from a lot of work in the background of the culture, on the streets, in youth clubs or in schools as well, they reach a lot of forgotten people who are in danger to come into contact with violence, crime and any troubles, or who are already experienced with it. Of course somebody respectful who is not in such a situation, is welcome to learn a lot, have fun and share his own talents, Hip Hop skills as well as much knowledge and wisdom about life in general and current things that happen. Even when you just feel a bit Hip Hop in your heart, you will feel the energy and quality of a Zulu Nation event with all it's elements Rapping, Graffiti, Breakdancing, DJing and the fifth element knowledge, and you will understand what the existence of it all means for lovers of the culture. We have now many people world wide who say that Afrika Bambaataa's work opened their eyes and made their life better or even saved it, and I am one of them too. We are, as well, talking about the places that many people never visit because they are too afraid of the things that happen there. Don't forget.

We know people like Bono from U2, or Bob Geldof, we know about Woodstock, all legendary and deserving more street names as well. But I don't know any other artist than Afrika Bambaataa, who is worldwide known and respected especially by two different popular music cultures, called Godfather by one of them, who spent almost 40 years with so much work for people like you and me, as well as with artists like James Brown, Bruce Springsteen or the One World One Voice project, against Apartheid and world destruction, for peace, unity and having fun, and for a better world in freedom (and everything that we small people can do). A job not for everybody, not the most comfortable way to walk, but the result of every day work, thinking and learning, courage, social skills, true love and empathy for people, patience, positivity and respect at the highest level.

When you can't count the people around the planet who agree or who at least are positively affected by his work without knowing it, it is a good time to think about signs of respect that the people of the future can see, so they can find and think about the special message of a good man.

To show the world a good way, and to say thank you when you should, the good people must be rewarded, and you better do it when they are alive. Thank you very much.  ~ Daniela V

Overstanding the Infinity Lessons

THE INFINITY LESSONS

This has been given to you for a reason.

Open your hearts toembrace the pull of the universal tide. The bridge has been built. Now is the time for us to cross into the next dimension of “Togetherness” that the New Age has brought. Don't fight what you can feel. Everyone of us is truly a divine creation, each unique in nature, the result of a spark from the fire in the heart of God. The age of Aquarius is truly here. This is a time for our selfidentity to be revealed. We are all divine beings. After 26,000 years, as enough of Humanity reaches this realization, an effect is created on all human beings. The Force of Truth is pressing on us. The Force has cracked the dam which restrains human consciousness and has allowed an unstoppable flowing energy to be released.

This Force of Truth is gaining more momentum every day as more people feel it's effects. Don't fight the flow. Let it carry you to our true destiny, Unity.

The illusion of separateness is the dam that blocks the stream of consciousness. Overcome the illusion; expand your circle of compassion.

Love one another. As the circle expands our collective consciousness grows bringing us to ever-higher realizations of divinity. As we are individually aligned with our true nature, the whole of humanity is strengthened. By focusing on your own development you serve all of humanity. At different times in history, certain fully realized beings have come to teach us by. Revealing different parts of the plan for the development of humanity as a 'Whole. These teachings have all focused on the universal truths, and have taught about the power of Love. Do unto others, as you would have them do to you. Multiplied and exponential growth...as more and more of us discover the truth inside.

The New World is Inside You. Zulu Kings brings forth the vision that we may all exist in harmony. We celebrate our divine nature, and appreciate. Our individual contributions to the good of the group...This is the true nature of the Age of Aquarius. Through coming together with music and dance, We Unite. Since the beginning of time people have danced as a way of communing with the higher power. People have danced in prayer, for fertility, to help their crops grow, to communicate with spirits, and to celebrate Life. Dancing is a meditative way for many of us to experience visions of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect, and transmits these Visions to humanity

As we align our mind, body and spirit we become aware of the natural pull to that which is right. "Thought" is replaced with "Feel". We are all like stars in the constellations above; we exist in relationship to each other. In the galaxy of human consciousness no one is alone. We all live together. Be as one Spirit, one Soul, leaves of one tree, flowers of one garden, waves of one ocean.

Be Who You Are,

The Truth is inside
