Blasting his way through Australia and New Zealand our newest Zulu61 Member KRS-One
It's official, KRS–One came he saw and the Blastmaster blew us all away with an incredible performance. Those fortunate enough to see the Teacha will no doubt admit to being witness to not just any Hip Hop Show but one that will be forever embedded in the minds of us all, what an experience to say the least.Note worthy not only was KRS blowing up the spot, we were all privellaged to say the least to have witnessed some of Australia's finest Hip Hop Acts ,not just old school to new school, but seriously all the acts that supported were all TRUE SCHOOL.Hip Hop was in the building.
Zulu 61 now has a new honorary member his name yes no doubt none other than the Blastmaster himself KRS-One,it was made at an official presentation live on stage throughout the course of his Melbourne performance.Presented with a short speech inducting him into the Zulu 61 chapter and presenting him with his official plaque and Zulu 61 beads it all went down in a positive manner, making all those at his performance the importance of the culture and what we Zulu 61 work and do each and every day of our lives, the importance of the Amun Ra of Hip Hop Culture , Afrika Bambaataa and without we would have no Hip Hop Culture today.Always remember those before us and those who paved the way and made it possible for us today to have what we have in Hip Hop Culture. Respect.

Once the Teacha finished his last show on our shores ,he bid us farewell and onward he shipped out heading to our cousins in New Zealand. The first show in New Zealand was in Wellington where a heavy line up supported including our ZULU 64 Chapter Aotearoa. The event in Wellington and Auckland was most successful and praise all round for a positive weekend, KRS had a great time in both countries with many traditional cultured memories to take with him on his life journey.
