Ahki Dave represents both South Australia and the Northern Territory of the Universal Zulu Nation 61 Australia. Dave assists UZN61 with website activities, as well as welcoming fellow members who visit Australia. Dave hopes that in time the South Australian chapter will grow.

Dave has experience in administration and AV production. Dave is currently working on a small staff recording lectures at a university. In the 1990's, he did production on the television program, Frequency Response. Working on Frequency Response gave Dave the opportunity to interview a wide range of DJs and Producers, such as Derrick May, Richie Hawtin, Gil Scott Heron, Norman Jay and DJ Krush, to name a few. He also did co-production with Tash on the Hip Hop program, Loungin. Along with his brother, Ahki Chedrock, Dave is an avid vinyl collector and archivist of Hip Hop.

In 2006, Dave had the opportunity to attend the Unviversal Zulu Nation Anniversary in New York, along with Ahki Chedrock, Ahki Peril and King Excel. Dave says it was an amazing experience that he will never forget.
